Simulation vs Emulation
ØA simulation is
a system that behaves similar to something
üImplemented
in an entirely different way.
üIt provides the
basic behavior of a system,
üMay not
necessarily adhere to all of the rules of the system
ØAn emulation is
a system that behaves exactly like something
else,
üAdheres
to all of the rules of the system being emulated.
ü It is effectively
a complete replication of another system,
üDown to
being binary compatible with the emulated
system's inputs and outputs, Operating in a different
environment to the environment of the original emulated system.
