Importance Of Email

Why is E-mail Important?

Email is important because of the some reasons which are as follows

     1)    Time:
E-mail is quick. E-mail message can be sent around the world in seconds compared to “snail mail”. Communicating by e-mail saves time within the office. Instead of walking down the   hall, business employees communicate with each other in the same office building via e-mail.

2)      Convenience:
With wireless communication, you can send e-    mail from notebooks to handhelds.

3)        Cost:
E-mail is cost effective because it is paper    free. E-mail currently requires no postage.

4)       Internal / External:
Memos are internal communication within a   company. E-mail allows you to communicate   internally to coworkers and externally to customers and vendors.

5)       Documentation:
E-mail provides an additional value when it comes to documentation. When e-mail is printed out, often the printout will contain dozens of e-mail messages, representing an entire string of dialogue. This provides a company an extensive record for future reference.
